Stroke of Genius or Insanity?

Alright I have an idea and I would like some criticism on it. I was thinking today on how to improve my horsepower without costing to much. In order to increase mpg and hp one would need to increase the amt of dense air going into the motor. There are many ways to doing this which is CAI, Superchargers and the likes... What about (heres the crazy thing) adding some duct work from the AC unit to the Air Intake? Its cold!! Now I may not have all of the info at hand such as: what if the moisture content is to high etc.. Please respond with some comments. Thanks!!!

I really can't comment too much, but I've always thought more air = more fuel??? Maybe hp but I doubt mpg.

Wouldn't help enough to be worth the time.
You'd have to setup some kind of intercooler. Just running it by it isn't gonna cool it down enough to be noticeable.

lol. wow. You know, you do have a point. Engines do run better with cooler temps. So, instead of all that hot air going into the intake, you could pour some cold ICE water in it. That would prolly make it run pretty good...LOL. just playing just playing. I had to do it. Hey I will give you an A for effort tho. Atleast you were trying to think of a unique way to add power to your car. Just watch, here in a couple years we are gonna be reading in Muscle Mustang & Fast Ford and will see "Free Horse Power With Freeon!".

Didn't the last Lightning concept have something that was charged with cool air from the AC that allowed extra boost for 15 seconds or so and increased the hp by 100 if I'm remembering correctly? I don't recall all the details but it was something like that.
