I've been having a heck of a time finding someone who will do body work on my '66. I'm needing relatively simple stuff like full-car weather stripping done, and some frame rails and various stuff. Most places that I've hit have been unreliable, or will only work on insurance type work. Any recommendations?

A guy that owns a local bodyshop around here has done some of that work in the past. I know they fully redid an old Studebaker. That was a pretty long project for him, but he did it well. My brother worked for him for a while, very good guy and does excellent work from what I've seen. If you'd like I could contact him and see what he says, but being in the Russellville area it may be further than you're looking to drive to get the work done.

Russellville is a bit far for me. I'm not sure I trust her to not break down going that far just yet ;)

I found a place in Fayetteville that I shot a note too.. let's hope they have something good to say.

Small progress report...

I found a place in Fayetteville that said it wouldn't a problem. I'm taking it down there on Friday and should get it back after Christmas. Yeah, it might be awhile but he has other people in front. I'm leaving it there so he can work on it inbetween projects. At this point, I don't care since I'm just happy to find someone to work on it... I contacted about 15 place so far in the last week...

Good luck! I've been down that road and lucked out that a family member of a friend of mine owns a body shop and was willing to do the work. I think Beebe is a little farther then your looking for but If you want I'll give you his name.

This looks like a top notch place. I may run by next time I'm up there.
