I need to work that day, but may try to take off if there is enough interest for another meet. I'd like to get a few more times in before the end of the year. I usually work until three, couldn't be out there until 4, so really not worth the trip unless I can get off work. I'll talk to the boss tomorrow, maybe I'll be the only one that needs that day off.

I was just told by my wife I have to take a vacation day that day so I will be able to go. Just 1 thing though; I plan on bringing my Challenger SRT8 since all of you beat up on my Saleen. That is as long as nobody is offended by a mopar at a mustang meet

LOL, we may have ran faster, but I know you would have been down there with the best of them had you been able to get traction. I'd like to see what the SRT-8 has though, from what I hear they are pretty quick. I've gotta work 9-4, so no way I can make this.

Im hoping with some weight reduction and rear suspension to hit 9's

Were you at full weight, or had you already removed some on that run?

That's some good driving. What tires were you running, still got the BFG drags? 9's should be easy to get with some weight reduction and even more so if you work on the suspension some more.

I was running 26x11.50x16 MT ET street. Im still on a stock susp so there is a few 10ths in upgrading it. But if I shave a few pounds that will also help. I think LT's are my next power mod.

Yep, lt's then adjusting your tune and removing a few pounds should definitely get you in the 9's.
