:?: Who would you recommend to use for painting stripes? As my pictures in my profile and my introduction show I would like to get strips that pay homage to the Boss Mustangs of the '70s. I am not going to put the word Boss on it, just the stripes. It is only a V6 and to me it would be rather tacky to put the name of one of the greatest looking cars ever on a V6. But I think it is OK to pay homage with a set of similar stripes.

But after all that needs explaining I will get back to my question; Does anyone know a really good striper? I am hoping to find someone who uses a laser to ensure the lines are parallel and strait. I have a friend I met through another Mustang Forum who had some painted on and they were not right.

I would also like to know about how much they usually charge? The ball park is ginormus when it comes to the range of costs I have heard people pay.

So even though I am a lowly V6er, I hope someone might have the know on these questions. ;)

I have a good friend that has helped me a lot on my stang (I told him a/b this forum, but dunno if he's checked it out yet) He had painted stripes on his stang. A white Fox GT w/ Blue Lemans stripes. He used to race at Centerville. Anyone out there should know Jody Hart (or maybe it's Hartman, I can't ever remember!). He does insurance work, and is an "official" paint/body shop. He's usually SUPER busy, but PM me and I'll get you his info and see if he's got time to do a "fun" job.

Of course it's a lot cheaper to do the vinyl stripes!
