First and Best
Did Israel not understand? First, Moses says, "I will make you envious by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding."
Romans 10:19
Have you ever been in church and a family gets blessed again and again and you think to yourself, “Why do they always get blessed? Where is my blessing?”
God doesn’t play favorites, so the only difference between you and them is the instruction you each chose to obey: “Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let not your hands be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well” (Ecclesiastes 11:6).
A regular Sunday night at World Harvest Church would be considered a revival in most churches. What is our secret? We know one seed changes everything.
God had a need. How did He set in motion the miracle that gave Him His heart’s desire? He planted a seed—in the person of His own precious Son. God didn’t just sow any old seed. No, He sowed His first and best seed—His only Son, Jesus.
The result? The family of God was born and you and I were given eternal life. Here God gives us the example to follow when we need a miracle. Give your first and your best seed!
