Flexplate???????????/

i am running a svo 2.3, ive bought an adapter kit to run a 5.0 c4, behind it. my question tis what flexplate do i run, the adapterplate states that you can run the bigger 5.0 clutch components on the maual tranny bt didnt say anything involving wat you can run with the auto .... any help would be greatly appreciated

I would think that you would use a 157 tooth flex plate for a 5.0, but the late model 302 (5.0) use a 50 oz. out of balance and ealier model 302 (pre 1980) uses a 28oz. out of balance. So it depends on what the 2.3 uses for the hamonic balancer and flywheel counter weight size. Hope this helps
