well since i added the o/r xpipe, my car has been crazy loud, so i decided to switch it up and i picked up a set of bassani street mufflers. I was running the mac ones and loved them when the car had cats, but now its just to loud. I picked these up from a member on another forum and decided to take a couple of quick pics to show the difference. To be honest i miss the look of the mac mufflers more, however these did quiet my car down a bit, but have an awful sound when leting off the gas under a load, real rattlecan sound, but as soon as my longtube headers and new midpipe arrive, that should go away seeing as how the midpipe has a set of pypes m80s welded in. here are a few quick pics

Didn't do a sound clip since there are so many on YouTube as it is, but once I get everything on the car I plan to put one up since I'll have mods others don't. As far as the tires go I do dd on them, and it was fun during those flood days. Haha. As long as your careful and let off the gas before going through a puddle, all is ok. Once these wear out i'm going to step up to a different size to fill the wheelwell up

I have bad them on since the end of feb. I have dine a few burnouts and hard launches on them and they are about a quater worn done with only about 2000 miles on them. Most don't see but around 10k miles if that. Just depends how you drive on them. I keep the pressure around 30psi on the street so they have a nice even wear

yeah, the tips on the macs look good since they go all the way to the muffler and dont tapper down, the bassani ones tapper down and you can see it at certain angles and it bugs me, also i liked the sound of the macs but the wife/neighbors didnt, so to make everyone happy i swapped them out, i think once the headers and cams are installed, ill be happy with the bassanis, if not youll see them for sale on here and ill pick something else up....haha

Weelo sold the car not too long after this was done, so the clip wasn't taken as far as I know. He's now working on a fox restoration.

Yeah I never got a sound clip, however 06blackgt has the xpipe and axleback on his car. So if you really want to check it out. Send him a message and he might get a sound clip or let you here it in person. It def had a nice deeper sound compared the mac's loud drone
