thanks! I was a idiot for getting rid of it... I like the truck I got now,its very nice(when its clean lol) but it just dont give me that special feeling like the scream of that blower and the feel of a 1.60 60ft'!

+.020 327 (330ci), forged internals, weiand 142 mini blower (2.3l), 700r4 swap, little suspension work, and a small shot for those big blower swap lightnings. i am going to head to head against them on their own torritory. i am trying to set it up as close as i can as a lightning.

an old 327 or LSX? I ran across a newer body style chevy with a cammed 6.0 on spray a couple years back that was called lightning killer. I down played the Lightning I had to be stock and acted like I was new into racing and didnt know much and he wanted to run me. I wish I could get the video on here with his friends in the background cussing me lol
I also got a buddy that done a 6L swap and he has put quit a few Lightnings around here down, including my old one but the guy that has it now cant drive it and it is no where near as fast as when I had it.

i am doing a generation 1 sbc (old 327). i think it would be a great set up. the onlyl thing that sucks is the weiand mini blowers only pump 10-12psi manifold pressure. that is the only reason i am going to put a small shot on top of it. the swap lightnings are able to push a hell of a lot more boost thru their set up.

that sucks! the 69 is my favorite Mustang. I have a 69 mach I but it is in nowhere near the shape that one was, it is just sitting on farm under a shed. it has 12 pt cage, narrowed subframe, sheetmetal inerior,mustang II front end.

Ya the 69 is my favorite year to, i plan on rebuilding a new one once i'm out of college and in the work force.
