my personal car is now back under construction. after a year of being down, i am now going to try and get it set up and ready to go. the set up will be for this season (well thats the current plan). with this set up i am going for high 9's in a fully streetable car. it will retain a/c, cruise, all the seats, etc. i will post pics, updates, etc as i go along.

will post pics of everything but the engine set up. Oh, man! If you're using that same intake (dunno why you wouldn't) it's a shame that we'll have to wait for pix... It's art!

hope so. the modifications to run it have been a little tricky, but just stuff you get into when you change something this much.

It sort of resembles the Reichard Racing intake for a 2v. Looks good, seems like you are making progress. Any updates?

i need to get more pics and upload the ones i have. the fuel system plumbing arrived today, nitrous plumbing arrived yesterday. i also recieved my nitrous burst panel, alternator wire kit (for battery cut off switch), new lower door hinge (drivers side has been bad for a while). i finishing up the heads as well so i can get them on the flow bench as well.

i am in great debate on what i am going to do on the rear suspension as well. i love corner carving, but nowhere to do it competively. i am in a frenzy on what exactly i am going to do, but hopefully i will get it figured out pretty soon.

the parts are rolling in but the money is running dry :( i was planning on working on the car this weekend, but i have to work to recoop money. i had a blow out on my old truck this week, and had to fork out my suspension money for the tires

parts i recieved:

new -6 mainline for n2o
misc fittings for n2o
another bottle heater
nitrous burst panel
all my fuel lines, fittings, and fuel filter
sullivan frps relocation kit
fore y single -8 tripple -6 (**** thats a sexy piece)
NX fuel accumulator
lower door hinge (mines has been bad since i got car)
cruise control cable (needed longer one for intake manifold)
alt wire kit for battery cut off switch (**** i forgot to order that)
gromets, clamps, holders, etc to mount everything under car
just got CAI finished and ready for prime (made one out of fiberglass)

got a few more odds and ends to purchase to have ready to start, but nothing thats a big deal. i have to finish getting throttle/cruise cables mounting done, and it should be ready to put together.

i dont. all i did was get some foam from hooby lobby, shape the foam for ID i wanted, used masking tape to cover it all, and laid down the glass. i used aluminum tape on the engine side under the last layer to help reflect some of the heat away. smooth, and spray. i havent worked on the cai or the car the past couple weeks due to a few thngs, but hopefully the divorce wont take anymore of the build or shop money. after everything is final, i will get back to work on it and finished.

was up for 36hrs working on that thing. i was not born to do body work, so its took a little while to get it right. bad thing is, on the way to the house to paint, car slid over on trailer when i went over a speed hump and hit my trailer fender. i had 2 dents to fix and neither of them were going to be easy to do. i am a perfectionist, and i cant stand small stuff like that.

i used that dupli color paint shop pour-n-spray stuff. turned out good, but has silver paint dust all over place :(

the suspension set up went in the car, and thankfully i swapped you. my lowers were a lot worse than i orignially thought. the upper set up was a little tricky since it was set up for a fox, but got it completely done last night. bring the car on up :)
