Finally got my hood pins in a couple of days ago, they are the black shelby ones, couldnt find ones without the logo :(

Question: Should I fill in the logo so it's less noticable? Currently the pins are black and the logo is shaded gray.

I'm scared to death to drill into my hood

AHHH

Just leave them the way they are!
Do you actually need them or are they for looks?

Yeah they are functional....

Hood shakes pretty bad at 70+, scares me !

i think they look good with the lettering...nothing bad about having "shelby" on a stang.

how do you like the trufiber hood? i have been looking at those for a while but haven't decided between their various hoods. I like the looks of the GTS3, GTS4 and SH-GT -- their T1 vented front fenders look cool as well...lol

I would just use the way they are. They look great.

I love my GTS3, took me a long time to decide between all of them as well. I like how well this one looks like it was "meant" to by on the car.

Only problem is, I think having the open heat extractors might have gotten some rain/water on my TPS and shorted it out. Not positive that's what wrong yet though...

Still haven't braved putting these pins on...Going to wait until we get into our new house to finish. I have to take the whole front fascia back off to remove the stupid headlights. grrr

The Hood pins are a must when it comes to fiberglass hoods and are good idea for the stock hoods as well. I would leave the pins as they are...good look to them.

I would leave them how they are now. All black would look nice too though.
