New here and to Mustangs

Hey guys... Dennis here from Russellville. New to this group by way of MustangForums.com and with the purchace of my 99 silver GT convertible. I happend onto it after i rolled my Miata down the median of I40 after blowing a tire. Plans for the GT are a shaker hood scoop, staggered set of bullet style wheels, springs swaybars ect ... Will be running the SCCA season this coming year so any advice is MORE than welcome. As of now she is stock except was told the gears had been changed to 4.55 which i belive cause it is a rocket out of the hole and is hitting 3200rpm in 5th at hwy speed. As i said any comments are welcome!

Hey ox..... yeah man they almost feel like a drift gear...... but i will improvise adapt and overcome and make them work for my autocrossing....somone said somethign about a meeting...... are we going to have club meetings? drives to eureka springs tunica or whereever???? sounds like fun ill be there!

yessir, I'am actually off today and going to scout for a place to have our first meeting place. We will have our first ones either in Little Rock or NLR, then we will probably change cities so that way everyone (or as many as possible) will be able to make some meets. We will have our first actual meet in January but we will have activities that we do also. In january, we will also schedule a dyno day and when the track opens back up we will have some more track days. We had our first track day a little over a month ago and it went really well! We have some pics and "Ultrastang" made a promotional video under the pics and vids forum. 09 will be our first whole year and we plan to make it to several of the annual car shows and other events that go on. welcome! are running a auo or 5spd? I know when I had the 4.6 2v in my car with 4.10's, 245/45's and 5spd I could barley run 1000', but if you are gonna autocross the 4.55's will be a good gear, I dont know much about that I can only drive srtaight and on dirl lol
