Walk the Land
Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you.
Genesis 13:17
God told Abram to walk the land in every direction and to explore the new possessions God was giving him. Abram had to walk in faith believing that God was going to give him every place that his “feet of faith” walked.
And the same is true for you. Are there areas in your life that you need to have under your dominion—your family, your marriage, your job, your community?
Then take time to walk the land. Walk the land of your home, your block, your job, your mind—wherever it is that you want to possess—walk it in faith!
Deuteronomy 5:33 says, “Walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.”
After Abram walked the land to possess it, he sowed seeds to possess it. Sow your seeds of faith so you can possess your land.If your seed is learning how to cast your cares on God, sow it. If your seed is learning to trust God even when things don’t make sense, sow trust in God. Are you willing to walk the land? Are you willing to sow your seed?
