I was using nitrous, but am going roots style now. I know how roots blowers react to nitrous from a little past knowlege(380hp/460ft/lbs on motor & on 13lbs boost - 498hp/622ft/lbs on 13lbs and 75shot =11.8X@114 1/4mi in 5000lb truck), so I am sure before its said and done once I get my bugs worked out and either a TKO or powerglide in place of my T45 I will end up with about a 150 shot along with around 18lbs of boost :twisted:

how much is on it now? I had a 125 on my car, and tried the 150 but the stock clutches didn't like it so I backed it back to 125.

i had 125, changed pump and went to a 150. i sold my plate, lines, and zex box; the zex box is only rated to 150. i am shooting for the car to hole a 200 shot before the motor blows apart if it does.

I will be spraying 100 to mine this weekend once everything is all hooked up. When i get a fuel pump im going to spray 150. then eventually 200

I am waiting to spend the 7K on a Kenne Bell intercooled supercharger kit. They claim on a completely stock car, 539 RWHP on 10lbs boost. And can go to 19lbs of boost pushing your RWHP to 675. If you read their website, Kenne Bell has done their homework. And I think I am going to go with them. And some SLP loudmouths. Two Guys Garage built a GT with their kit and loved it. Speed Channel’s Two Guys Garage had to say: “I never thought a Chevy guy would have so much fun in a Ford!” I wanted a Whipple until I read their wesite, they have done their research. I want one now!

I love the KB blowers and your car would be awesome with one. Shelby Love on here has one on his 3V car. You might talk to him about how he likes it. I don't pretend to know a whole lot about those cars but those numbers sound higher than most I have seen out of that combo. Maybe one of the other guys can give you a little more input though.

16-18 lbs of turbo boosting power in my lil ole 4 banger. It feels more the a 2 stroke hitting the power bang every time I hit 3k rpm's.
