i have been on the fence for a while about which body kit to get ever since i got my mustang. i fell in love with the saleen body kit when a former orielly's worker in gravel ridge had a 2002(?) dark blue saleen and the lines on the saleen looked beautiful. now I've had a crave for the roush stage 3 body kit because of the way it makes the car stand out with the clean kind of business like style it sports.

the thing that keeps me from being firm on my choice is a lot of people do the saleen kits but not many do the roush and like the odd ball i am i like to do things most people usually won't do like modding a v-6 ha.

so i'm wondering, do i go with the saleen kit and have that edgy style or the roush and have the clean not so flashy kit? i'm leaning to the saleen but i'd like to see what my fellow mustang guys thought.

Either look would be sweet. But since you spent that money on that new delis and spoiler, I would go the roush route and use it along with the 99 wing. Also a 99 or 03 cobra front bumper and 03 cobra sideskirts would be a sick simple add on and would look good if you still plan on getting that rear bumper from horspwr

yeah i did keep my self from making the saleen any option since i plan on getting the gt bumper and putting on the new decklid i got. i would love to have that 99 cobra front bumper, not the 03 cause everyone does it but not the 99 though. i never really notice the difference in side skirts with the sn95 mustangs. would having the roush front bumper and the cobra sides skirts with the gt bumper be a nice set up? my car seems to be a melting pot of other mustangs lol

Roush Front bumper and side skirts with exhaust, V6 Rear bumper, Saleen 3piece rear spoiler....

I saw a car with that exact setup, it looked killer. Only thing I didn't care for was all the Cobra emblems plastered all over it..

Saleen spoiler is a must on these cars imo. I LOVED it on my old stang. 03-04 cobra side skirts are a subtle mod that add alot to the car, and they're not too pricey.

I agree. Keep it simple and clean. The other kits are nice but IMO a bit much. And plus, unless you buy the real deal, over time the cheaper kits start to sag and get all wavy. Also fitment sometimes become an issue. That's why I suggested buying oem ford parts designed for your car to top off the looks. If you don't want to spend big money just put the Mach chin spoiler on the front and 03 cobra side skirts on and I think the overall look would be super clean. Just a thought

i love the saleen wings and will likely be the choice of spoiler when i do get the body kit. i'm pretty set on the roush body kit minus the rear bumper attachments. i do like the mach chin spoiler, but i'd like to stand out alil bit more with that roush kit and still look clean. i found a few pics of the roush/saleen set up and it looks NICE. what about a 03/04 cobra rear bumper with shaved letters as the finishing touch? cause the cobra bumper w/ saleen spoiler is one the best looking rear set ups i've seen.

Or buy a V8. ;). Don't get a spoiler. You saw my bullitt, these cars look better without one IMO.

you can also maybe get the bullitt side skirts with the front mud flaps.

lol naw i'm good on the front mud flaps, i had them on my first car(cavalier) and strongly disliked them. the no spoiler look looks nice and i enjoyed having no spoiler on my car for a while but it's not my preferred choice. the saleen spoiler to me just makes the car pop.

about the v8 thing, i'm not really wanting to go the v8 route because almost everyone does it. yeah it would be the better way to go but i like doing things different and something that'll stand out like modding a 6. yeah it might seem crazy or ill-advised to do what i'm doing but then again i'm just happy to have a mustang, v6 or v8. so i'll mod what i have, make big plans for it and run with it. it brings a new level of fun to modding that i like. i hope on owning a v8 sometime down the road but not now.

It's all about being happy, but if you end up putting lamb doors, some ricer bodykit and 24" rims on your car, we will have problems. Hahaha

Who cares about uniqueness, it's all about speed, nasty bad *** speed.
