Thanks guys. I havent had the car at the track yet, having 3 youngins' keeps spare time far and few between. I expect it to lay down a pretty good number though. I'm gonna say low 10's in the 1000'. This is my street car though (with COLD A/C) and I plan on trying to keep it as such. I used to have a 89 GT that was decently fast (9.70-1000' on stock suspension) but it sold back in the summer. I just finished a custom carb for the vert this evening and took it for a test run. OMG, its like night and day and is even more of a handfull than it was before.

10's should be a breeze. I got a buddy that has a 89 gt with a 347 and the first time it ever went to the track, we put the engine in the night before, fired it up, set timing and hauled it straight to the track and I ran 10.0 in it on motor first time out. we finally got it down tho some 8.60's later in the year but thats with k member, a arms, coilover and a little spray. the 331 should be real close, good luck with it!

Who knows, I may even sell or trade the car before I get a chance to take it to the track. I'm enjoying it with the mods i have right now. If I took it to the track I would never be satisfied and would just want to make it quicker no matter how fast of a time I'd run. 8.60's is gettin' it pretty good, especially in a street car that can actually be driven. I never had the chance to fully finish my GT before selling it. I was really looking forward to mid 8's in that car, and it was very obtainable with the direction I was going with it.

yea that is very fast for a street car! that what the one I am talkin about is, we drove it regular, didnt have a cage or anything and was on 26x10.5 et streets and went 10.5 1/4. I know what you mean no matter what you run, you will alway want more. care are like drugs!
