I was looking at the UPR site and noticed the pulley kits. They say they add 10-15HP. For a little over a $100.00 seems to me like it's worth it. Was just curious what you guys thought about the upgrade whether they are worth it or if anyone has noticed a difference by upgrading? I know they make a big difference in the Cobra's but what about GT's?

usually only thinh that givesthe actual horsepower it claims is nitrous, but the pulley do free up the load which will probably give a little hp. for a hundred bucks you cant go wrong...

I wouldn't do pulleys on a 4.6L that are piggy back style.Steeda makes the best pulleys for the modular. They are SFI approved, and the crank pulley is an actually harmonic balancer unlike the piggy back style from other companies.Do a search, and you will see. ;)

This is a very easy to install, inexpensive performance modification many mustang owners apply to their cars. A heavily recommended product. You can't beat this inexpensive, and effective performance upgrade for your Pony.

Get back the power and torque your belt-driven accessories steal. Bolt on 8-10 “free” horsepower with Steeda’s underdrive pulleys. These pulleys slow down your accessories about 25%, reducing the drag on your engine. They even bump up gas mileage. Our pulleys are manufactured from billet steel, exceeding factory quality. They're also SFI race approved. The one-piece crankshaft pulley uses a high-tech injection molded bonded rubber damper, making it far more durable than "piggyback style" underdrive pulleys.
Note: Midway through the production run for the 2001 model year Ford changed the design of the water pump on the 4.6L engine. The older style pump produced from 1996 to mid 2001 had a longer shaft. In January of 2001 the design of the pump was changed to a shorter shaft. This necessitated a change in the design of the pump pulley.
