I hear a lot about polk performance but I've never used them. I think they are located in the L.R. - Bryant area?

If you have a decent hand tool set and good directions...sound be something you could do in a day or so.

Torched is right, if you are just a little familiar with cars and got the right tools it can be done in a day. actually if you wanted to save some money, I have every tool you can think of and I would be pleased to help you out if you didnt mind drive down here to south AR.
any paticular blower you have in mind?

kenne bell, procharger, or vortec is all you need to consider! they are the shizzle my nizzle!

go with the vortec, just my 2cents the kenne bell will create alot of heat as in air and will fatigue the motor UNLESS it is intercooled then you'll be fine. Kenne Bell has on the spot boost and through the power band hot air is present and would probably make a tad more power, but we all want it to last as well. I have a procharger on my 97 cobra and its great, but if i owned another one i'd try the vortec. I do know the 05 and up stangs like the 430s geasr and NOS, they can really put down alot of good numbers, especially torque...but good luck which ever way you go.

I personally would do a procharger D1SC or bigger, if not a procharger I would do a intercooled whipple. but really, vortech, paxton, kenne bell, whipple, or procharger... they are all great blowers and name brand just has to do with personal preference, just like how id pick a ford over a chevy or death over a dodge or import lol.

I like the KB and Whipple for the instant TQ and street manners. But its tought to beat the sound of a D1 pro charger or Vortech.

But whatever kit you buy make sure you get the intercooled/aftercooled version. Its a good investment

Install it yourself. The whole idea of rodding is turning your own wrenches not writing checks. Can do :o

Well, some people like to leave it to the professionals that can put a warrenty behind their work.

It is pretty easy. I would do it yourself.
