View Full Version : new(ish) rims

i got myself a new used set of bullitt rims from 04 s/c gt had for sale. they are 17x8 fronts with 10.5s in the back so just a simple tire switch is all i need done but plan to get them powdercoated black and do something with the lip but not sure yet before mounting them. will post pics when i get them cleaned up and out of my car. i'm really looking forward to the new wheel set up : )

yeah thats the one part that sucks is the new rears i got. which i may put the rims up for sale cause the tires only have about maybe 1500 miles on them and i dont want to buy new ones again.

I was thinking since your front wheels had that chrome chipping that it would have looked sweet to powerboat them all gloss black. But the bullitts will look sweet too. Especially the dd look

yeah the cobra r's would have looked nice powercoated black but i'm a sucker for deep dish and was ready for a new wheel set up.

just throwing this thought out there, what if i did the lips a zinc yellow? (if that's even possible)

There's a charger on this new forum im on that is yellow with yellow and black wheels. Looks good. I'll post a pic of it later

i like it. but the yellow just ain't doing it for me on the charger. i'll have to sit on this one for a while.

Sexy on the charger, wouldn't look good on a stang though. I bought my friend the same exact charger a few months back lol
