Hello all, my name is Chris Germer and i'm 29 years old and this forum was recommended to me by Vicki Elmendorf. I work with her husband Mike and am also a Locomotive Engineer for Union Pacific Railroad. I'm married with two boys.
Had a 99 Mustang GT with a ton of mods that I sold a few years ago because as you all know, when your Mustang buddies start selling their stuff you tend to follow. But a few years later they started getting hot rods again and of course I had to follow. LOL Been a Mustang lover since I was a kid and saw one at a car show. These last couple years have been horrible without a pony in the garage. So about 5 months ago I got back in the Mustang world, thought about going with a new edge Mustang like my old one(99-04) or even a new 2011 5.0 but decided to go old skool this time with a 5.0 Foxbody, so I picked up a 1992 Mustang GT 5.0 5-speed. It needs some TLC but I got it for a project and as you foxbody owners know, parts are da cheap on these cars! It's getting there slowly but surely. It has the basic bolt-on mods, B303 cam, headers, off-road x-pipe, flowmasters, 4.10 gears with bigger axles, centerforce clutch, BBK CAI, hurst shifter, upper and lower rear control arms, lowering springs, Ford Racing 9mm plug wires. It's under the knife right now getting some caster/camber plates, silicone cooling hoses and a new radiator. Future plans are some smoked headlights/foglights, intake, heads, some MSD ignition, etc. She's not the fastest pony in the stable but she sure is fun to drive.
On a side note, when the got the car, my 12 year old asked me where the cupholders are and why is the dash so small! LOL
