Hey guys, I just bought some 35th Anniversary leather seats for $200. I had to pay $35 crating fee and $144 shipping. So I paid about $380 altogether. Not bad for something that was like a $600-$800 seat package new.

I got them from MPS Auto Salvage in GA (why the shipping was high lol). They came from a wrecked 99 GT, so they have a lil wear to them. The silver inserts could be re-upholstered when I got time, but they still look pretty **** good......better than the ****ty cloth seats. The dark charcoal parts of them are flawless though, so it's all good lol.

I cleaned them like 4 times with cleaner/conditioner, then swapped my seatbelt loop (by headrest) and my seat tracks. They came with their own, but I'm borderline OCD and mine don't have any rust. The only thing is the bottom part of the rear seat doesn't fit. I guess the rear panels for the 35th package (mine is 35th, just didn't have the upgraded package) were made differently. So the seat backs are in, but the bottom of my seat delete is still there. I'll have to figure something out to fill the gaps on the sides of the seat.

Anyways, my fiance has her camera right now...but hopefully I can get some pics uploaded on here tomorrow.

They're not "new" but they are new to me :) They have a few small blemishes (stains, creases, etc). But they look a helluva lot better than the cloth seats. The rear back needs to have the leather tightened a lil bit, and the bottom needs some adjusting to fit properly. It is smaller than what was in there, so there's a gap on the sides. I don't know if I'll have a shop spread it out, or make some kind of custom things on the side.

I cleaned them like 3 times before putting them in, and I've cleaned them several times since. They look a **** load better than when I got them. I used Eagle One Nano-protectant on them. I like it because it doesn't leave an oily residue on them like some other products. I'm sure there's something out there that would take the small stains in the passenger seat out, I just haven't looked for anything yet.

Well, what do you guys think? Quite an improvement, even for used leather seats, huh?

***EDIT***
Oh, I forgot to mention how freaking GREAT they smell. You can open the door and the heat pours out....along with the smell of sweet, sweet leather. Ahhhh  Not only do they smell better, but they are a lot more firm than my crappy cloth seats. If I drove a long ways, it would make my back ache (possibly because they were leaned back lol). But now, even leaned back they support my back fully. Not to mention the fact that my driver seat now has the inflatable back support. My cloths didn't have that one. I love them. It was worth the $380 easily. Nice upgrade in my book.

Well I simply replaced the text in my last post with the pics. But I guess it doesn't allow the board to show that there are new posts. So here's the new post to get your attention lol.

Nice buy. I've used MPS before when I lived in GA. They're a great help and very useful when it comes to buying small things such as misc. wiring harnesses and such. Usually they can be a little high on large things though like what you bought but I'd say you got a good deal.
