what would you recommend for a huge keymark down to the metal?

Use some touch up paint, if you use it right it can look great, there are plenty of guides on the net. And then after that pay me to do your car of course.

lol, thanks well I'am actually a detail guy myself I really enjoy cleaning the cars! but out of curiousity what do you charge?

Depends on the condition of the paint, for a full correction you are looking at 300 if you just want minor swirls out and a full detail between 150-200ish just a plain detail 100.
