cobra tank/pumps

i finally got to install my termi tank and pumps yesterday. i'd rather not have to do another one. after i got canisters switched finally, the stupid canister sensor was different. i didnt want to to cut the hoses but end up having to so i could get teh sensor switched.

atcs like too much fuel. flooding out for some reason. Mine does the same thing on start up every morning when it is cold. As soon as it warms up, its fine every time I start it until i let it cool off again. I go through plugs like nobody's business.

Are you able to drive it before it warms up? I have to let mine warm up for about ten minutes every morning before I can even drive it. If I don't, it will die in its tracks and not start back until I pull the plugs and clean them real good.

i dont know whats wrong with it now. the car has always been cold nautred. it wont even want to try to run until its been started for several minutes, even then it dont want to run right. used to, it would stunble for a little bit, maybe die once or twice, theni would be able to drive it. it would stumble for a couple miles, but it would drive just fine. here is a vid before i pulled the single pump.

Isn't all of that controlled in the computer as far as cold start idle and so on? I would check with that. Maybe the addition of the cobra tank and pumps amplified the issue you had before. Just a guess though.

maybe, i dont know. i think i might just get a set of gt pumps, modified fpdm, and a new tune. if that dont fix it, a bag lit bag of charcoal under the gas tank will fix all the problems.

Did you ever figure out what the issue was? I saw you the other day on 102. Car sounded good.

no, i guess it just wanted to throw a fit. it starts up like it did before. i dont know, this car is tempermental for some stupid reason.

DID YOU SWITCH THE FUEL PUMP DRIVER CONTROLLER OUT TO? AS IN PUT THE COBRA ONE IN YOU CAR. MAY THAT BE YOUR PROBLEM?

the fpdm is the same for the cobra as the gt. the stock gt can drive 2 cobra pumps.
