Here is the run down. I bought a used Zex wet kit that has a NOS brand purge on it. I bought a new steeda 3 way cup holder control switch. This was installed on my 03 mach 1

The zex box has 3 wires on it. Red..black, white. The red is ran to the switch in the cup holder. White is ran to the TPS sensor and wired in with a T splice. The black is has a loop connector solderded to it and it is grounded to the bolt that holds the little black box right by the strut tower. The ground for the purge is grounded to the same place. The hot for the purge is ran to the switch in the car. The hot wire is ran from the distabution box right by the battery. It attached to the bolt that is sticking out. I also have the power wire for the amp ran there. The power wire for the n2o is ran in the car and has a 30 amp mini fuse in-line fuse then its connexted to the hot wire for the 3 way switch

All the wiring is soldered and heat shrinked. I didn't have a fuse when we wired it all up. Car started and drove great. I just bought the fuse today. I get in the car install the fuse. At his time the keys were not in the ingnition. I flip the arming switch......little red light comes on. I hit the purge switch.....I here the silioned click......each time.....working good

so I go get the keys to move the car across the yard. As soon as I try to start it goes dead and I start get a clicking sound from under the dash by the fuse box. At this time the only thing that works on the car is the dome light. Nothing else.

I checked all the fuses and there fine. I have no clue where to look now. Please help

Sorry for the miss spelled words....I typed this from my blaclberry

have you tried un plugging the hot wire from the purge from the black box? everything elses you from the zex box is wired about the same as i had my zex box wired in. when you say it is clicking, does it sound like the click you get from a dead battery? also did you unhook the battery? you could just have bad connection from battery or where you wired thepurge in.

yeah its like a dead battery click...but its coming from the fuse box under the dash. Im going to move the power wire for the amp and N20 down to the battery and move the ground up tp the ground strap on the hood/fender. Then going to start replacing the realys and hope its one of those that is broke.

Got it fixed. It was the battery. It went from a normal charge. Like we just got back from shopping. And it was fine. Then it just crapped the bed. Oh well. Kinda sucks cause now I gotta spend bottle heater money on a battery. But I'm glad it wasn't anythibg serious

I was so glad to hear it fire up when we dropped the battery out of my truck into it. You would think that the original battery would last longer than that one did, right? lol Good seeing you again man.

im thinking about driving out and getting the saleen out of storage for a day or so. hopefully it will start and we won't need to turn any wrenches. we do need to get out on a vacant road and compare horsepower sometime though. *wink*
