This is my 2007 mustang i have done all mods to it i bought it brand new in 2007, ( Custom paint wsa done ) GAry haggar of the hack shack here in rogers has repainted it and added a new 1/4 panel..

really enjoyed being outside this weekend. as I was cleaning the vehicles I realized how much the 4.6 has improved over the years.
my 97 f150 with a 4.6 would make a good boat anchor.
my 02 mountaineer with a 4.6 does good for an suv
My cobra tweaked to 517 RWHP and 21 MPG highway. to much fun to be legal!!!

Need to paint/dye the door tops black, pronto. Then we can get to the top half of the trim.
Hate that Ford did that to the stangs after 95. The complete 2tone interior looks so much better (in my not so humble opinion).

Disclaimer: Im just giving my likes/dislikes/opinions on sn95 stangs. I'm definitely opinionated and have wierd issues and obsessions w/ these cars. I am very excited for John w/ the purchase of this Cobra, and have probably gone way overboard on telling him how to build it.

The black doortops flow from the black on the top of the dash, instead of stopping abruptly. Honestly this is part of why I wanted a 94/95.

ohhh yeah,,,my thoughts exactly!! On the way back (had plenty of time to stare) I was actually thinking that there is WAYYY to much tan opposed to the black inside. I think I would really want to do that that you have in that picture! Looks much better! Although I'd like to keep interior stock, this would look SOOO much better and would for sure consider it!

One thing I think you'll want to do real quick is a console swap. I know it's a little early for mods, but no cup holders, come on! One of the first mods to my 96 was a 03 console. You can see in the pics Ty listed, the last one (gray/black interior) has a 99-02 console. The cup holders in these aren't in the best place, but at least there. They were moved for 03/04 and a cup doesn't get in the way of shifting as bad. Just a thought!

Yep, I remember those days!!! I got mine off the classifieds on SVTPerformance. I ended up giving like $75. It mounts up perfect, only downside is at the very back of the console, where the hump is in the floor on the back seats, there will be a ~2" gap. It's not visible though, so not a big deal. I had to dye my new console to match. The 96 uses "black" whereas the newer models (can't remember which year it started) uses "charcoal".

WOW!!! It's about time we get some pics of that thing. Looking good, very nice work thus far. This may be a touchy subject, but have you considered tint? With the smoked tails and black wheels, some dark tint for the windows would really finish it off IMO.

I want some smoked headlights and 3rd brakelight (and corner reflectors in the back bumper), but I go back/forth on the tinted windows. It'd definitely make the car more comfortable -which is pretty important to me. ON THE OTHER HAND, I'm afraid that it'd be too two-diminsional w/ the tint. Like the whole thing would just be blue (purple?) or black. W/o the tint, you can see the gray interior. SOMEDAY when I have the Red interior I'd like ppl to be able to see it from outside the car...
I can't make up my mind.

Hmmm, I see what you're saying. I will agree on the smoked headlights, that'd look good as well. FYI, stay away from Blue Oval Industries. That's what I had on mine and while they looked OK, the quality was horrible. Also, I'd say be prepared to put in some HID's because the light output was terrible with the smoked lights (wasn't that great to begin with).

Comp Orange is in my top5 favorite mustang colors (w/ Sapphire Blue, Dove Gray, Aztec Gold, and Zinc Yellow)
