Track Day at Centerville!

Ok, I have talked to the guys at the Centerville Race Track, and have a couple of dates to choose from that we can reserve the track if anyone's interested? The dates to choose from are December 13 or the 20. These are Saturday's, if you are interested and want to do this let me know,and what day is good for you, so i can call and reserve the date. The cost if we can get at least 6 people will be $50.00 a car. We have the track all to our selves from 10:00-3:00 1-lane. If interested let me know.

i can get probably 2 or 3 other mustang guys that i know of right off the top of my head, they should be able to get off work. i will bring my mustang, and maybe the mach if its able to race. i know there will be a few f-body guys that will want to show up for some excitment.

Sounds great! The only thing is they only open up 1 lane for private sessions. Hope that's ok with you guys? Or we can just plan a date when they're doing races 2 lanes and just meet up there? Whatever you guys want to do?

saturdays its only 15 bucks and you can run as much as you want, plus in december the track will be cold and hard and no hoooking up if the track doesnt build heat. October 18th is the state legal championship shootout, and your talking about 150-200 cars, and 2000 fans,,one big day, after that is when i would try to get up to the track and the staging lanes dont stay that backed up, maybe 30-45 sec once you've entered the lanes!
How do i know all this info??? MY wife is wayne and pattys daughter,,hehehe, i'm up there every weekend for the past 3 yrs. helping,racing,and meeting new people! So thats why i would try to get to the track early before it gets too cold. Everyone who wants too can show up at like 2:00pm and have a cookout, and at 5pm start making time trials untill 11pm,,, just my 2 pennies

Well it looks like we've decided to just go up there on a weeked with everyone else since it would be cheaper. I will get with Quckshift and try and set a date and we'll see what happens ;)

Ok, our track day will be Saturday Nov. 8th at Centerville Raceway. This is a open time so there will be others there with us. The time is from 12:00pm.-6pm. If you guys want, we could meet there at 10:30 grill out and have lunch and then race! :) I look forward to it, i hope all that can, will come out should be a fun time! The cost is $15.00 to run as many times as you like,and $5.00 to spectate. Once we know how many is going to come, we'll then decide what to bring as far as the cookout goes. If you guys have any questions or comments let me know. I'am stoked!

I think I'll be able to make it. I haven't been in a while. I've only ran a few times, still trying to get use to the car/track. I'm new to it all, so times are far from decent. I should be there to meet some of you guys, but still doubt I'll run that day. I might make a pass or two, but I have some major traction problems, so that plus cooler weather makes me hesistant.

I should get word tomorrow to know if I'll be able to make it. I shouldn't have any problems getting off. My g/f and I are planning to attend. So what is the agenda? We gonna have enough to meet early for a cookout? I'd like to go on a cruise, but don't think we'll have time that day. I was thinking it would be nice to head up on Mt. Magazine as the leaves turn.

Well so far the plan is to get there at 10:30 have a lil cookout and start racing at 12:00. Probably will run until 3-4 then I'am game for whatever. A cruise would be fine by me!

Well he said he'll let us in at 10:30 but if we're later than that we'll have to wait until 12. So i figure we need to be there around 10:20-10:30 to make sure we get in the gate. I'll bring the grill.

Yeah, chips would be great! We'll also need hamburger/hotdog buns,mustard,ketchup,cheese,hogdogs,and hamburger meat if anyone else can help. I'll also bring a cooler with ice and drinks.

OK. I'm still thinking about bringing the meat, should be able to get a discount (this isn't set in stone, will know more next week on this as well). I'll need to know how much to get and I can go from there on how much I will be able to get.
