Well, i figure i will keep you guys and gals up to date on the build. It is coming along pretty well so far. Everything is unhooked and the engine is ready to be pulled. I ordered all my parts Thursday night, i didnt realize how quick i could spend $4,000 :o . Here is the parts list that i ordered:

MMR 7qt oil pan
MMR Oil pump
ARP headstud kit
MLS head gaskets
MMR full gasket set
Long Tubes
O/R X
AEM wideband
C pillar gauge pod
Oil pressure gauge
Bottle pressure gauge
MMR windage tray
255lph fuel pump and regulator
Custom built MMR/manley pistons
All bearings, piston rings and so on
Timing chain assembly
HiTech stage 2 cams

I still have to buy an intake, injectors, mass air, Heads, and a tune. Im thinking about going with the Fox Lake P-51 inake instead of the victor jr. I think with the victor jr i would lose to much bottom end. Im going with some 24lbs injectors, and an Pro-M mass air meter. As for heads, i am getting some PI heads that have been hogged out to the max, they flow 256cfm at .550. Im just hoping that it runs pretty decent. I will be spraying 200 to it once i get the chassis/rear end work done.

Sounds like a good bit of progress. I guess I just overlooked it, but what engine setup did you end up going with? All I can say is you better take me for a ride once it gets done (that'll have to satisfy my desire to go fast, I sure can't keep up with you guys anymore).

It's just a 4.6, was gonna go with a stroker but i had a change of heart. I will for sure give u a ride once it gets done. It should be pretty intense on a 200 shot.

All I can say is you better get a bigger tire, those 245's or whatever you were running are gonna feel like ice.

nice bill. easy on the heads, the airflow on the low end is going to suck. if you plan on sprying in a somewhat low rpm, its a good idea to keep the velocity up as much as possible.

Well, its been a BIG change of plans. I baught a little car that i could drive back and forth to work in so i wouldnt have to drive my mustang everyday. Well here are the new plans:

Monster Mod 5.4 from Modular Mustang Racing
88mm turbo
same heads
stage 3 turbo cams
F.A.S.T XFI stand alone engine management system
Powerglide with 3500 stall, transbrake, 2 step
33 spline axles, dont know what gears yet

that's just a small list, of course you know all the other odds and ends.
The horsepower goal is 1200rwhp. Should be pretty good into the 8's in the 1/4 and DEEP into the 7's at centerville. I just finished up buying all my suspension stuff, should be in saturday.

Im not sure, I may just get you knock a little off them headers if you want to do that. They the stock gears that came out of my car. I figure prolly $50... that sound about right. been meaning to call you and talk to ya about the headers but havent got a chance.
