Hi, y'all. Got invited over, thought I'd add another site for this net junkie to haunt.
I'm retired, live in East End, and have played with cars since before Mustangs were . . ..
Our Blue Oval stable consists of:
'08 Shelby GT500 - vista blue / white - HiD's, upgrade interior, ambient lighting, FRPP CAI kit, FRPP FR3 handling pack.
'66 C-code stripper coupe - project - automatic
'02 F-550 CC PSD hauler.
My DD is a '03 Dakota QC 4x4.
Wife's DD is an '08 Caddy SRX4 V8.
I also have 2 retired race cars (can't get a racing license anymore for health reasons) - '74 Porsche and '86 Toyota - road race stuff.
Also, 7 miscellaneous restoration / parts cars - mostly 1st generation Toyota MR2's.
4 miscellaneous trailers; 2 motorhomes; plenty of storage space in 2 properties.
We travel a lot - weeks at a time. Currently at Heartland Park Topeka (KS) for the SCCA National Championship Runoffs.

Anybody tell you the background / default font color sucks?? It doesn't work on a laptop for crap.
I rarely am in an area for long. We travel extensively, so making meets is not easy. I've been trying to get to an SCCA autocross for months. Currently, we're in Topeka, KS - at the SCCA National Championship Runoffs - where we'll be for a week. Kind'a sad really, since I have a dream garage, plus a 10,000s/f offsite shop - but my health doesn't allow me to wrench, cut, weld, etc. like I once did. Simple things require a helper - and I supply the brainpower.
I was building drag cars in the late '60's, then went into road racing for ~30 years. I still own 2 of my old cars - 914 Porsche and MR2 Toyota, both of which have championships to their credit. I also still have my LQ / transporter (which BTW is for sale, if you know someone who is looking for a deluxe custom 40' rig).

Hi Eastender. Have you lived in East End long? I lived on Springlake road in the 60's and Cole lane in the 70's. You sound like Johnny Ramsey, except he would not have a mustang unless Mopar built it. I hope we enjoy this site.
Cool!
/ I grew up there in the 60's and 70's. Ilived on Springlake road. You sound Like Johnny Ramsey exsept he would never have a mustang that wasn't built by Mopar.

Sorry about the long delay in responding. I had the website bookmarked on my laptop, but since we left Topeka, I haven't been using it. I finally got back here with my desktop.
Mustangtrio . . . right in the neighborhood. Our homesite is where the old Haynes homestead was - Lorance Drive, across Riley Rd. from "Aunt Peggy". We bought the place (custom built in 1989) in 6/05, and did extensive addition / renovation - moving in 2/06. Prior to that, for 13 years, we had the "place with the big blue shop" on the south side of Mabelvale Cutoff at Whispering Pines in SWLR.
New shop building . . . part of the renovation:
