Hello and nice ride, where did you get the gt500 chin and how much did it cost, if you don't mind me asking...
I got it at Ford, and di some trimming to it to make it fit.
Recently I put a GT 500 Chin Spoiler on my car. Bought it from the Ford Dealership, cost $75.00 no shipping charge, not a bad price coming from the Dealership.
This is the piece, before it is modified.

You want to raise your front end, prefer ramps.
http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r43/nascarjunkie1/GT500ChinInstall002.jpg
Then using a jack to support the chin to mark off where you will need to cut the plastic you wont need.
http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r43/nascarjunkie1/GT500ChinInstall006.jpg
Then using a transfer guide that I had in my tool box for years that I finally got to use, place under front end to get the countor of the bottom bumper.
http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r43/nascarjunkie1/GT500ChinInstall008.jpg
Then using a dremel with a small cutting wheel, cut off the "waffle" you wont need, looks kinda ugly till you get it all off.

Doing both sides and mocking up to insure a proper fit, you are now ready to install. Using the 3 screws already under the bumper and drill one hole on each side near the wheel wells, I used 1/4 SS bolts with fender washers and lock nuts so they wont come off if I hit a possum or dillo...

You will have a bunch of 1/2 holes in the chin I used these plugs I got at auto zone and some RTV silicone to hold these on.

Put a few screws in the wheel wells our done. Took about 3 hours to do these mod.

I just ordered that same chin spoiler for my car because my current one is getting to beat up with my car being as low as it is. I will be using your directions to put it on. I appreciate you posting that and it looks great...
