Ok let's face it, my mods list of what i wanted to do ws rediculous...i added up those parts list and it was going to be over 40k. Im not going to put that much money in that car. Plus it would take me about 2 years to build. I know ALOT of modular guys are going to hate me for this, but im going carb'd with it and putting a 408 windsor in it. I got a really good deal on alot of these parts, that's why im doing it, plus it will actually be really fast. This is how i figured it, I would have about 8k in the long block of my 5.4 and all that other crap and on motor it would be slow...I will have less than that in this long block and it will run low 8's to high 7's in the 1000ft. Dont forget i still have my nitrous kit so i will throw it on there if it doesnt throw those numbers. But this is the EXACT combo of my buddies car that set the street radial record on a 275/60 Winston Winner tire that ran a 7.78 at centerville. My car is about 75 pounds heavier than his was but im using a little better cam so i dunno what it will run.

Ford Racing Performance Parts Windsor "W" aftermarket block
Eagle forged 4340 stroker crank
Eagle forged H beam rods
JE forged 12:5 compression pistons
Comp cams .696/.683 solid roller cam
Edelbrock Victor Sr Heads that are professionally ported
Edelbrock Super Victor Intake
Full MSD set up
Demon Carburetor 825 Race Demon carburetor
TCI Powerglide with 4000 stall
33 spline moser axles, full lightweight spool, 3.73 gears
Aeromotive fuel system

The only thing that sucks about it is that i will have to run 110-114 race fuel in it...I will still drive it around sum but it definitly wont be a whole lot. Prolly strictly weekend's. Let me know what you think.

you should be able to run pump gas, i beleive thats about the same compression of my uncles 410 he he runs pump gas. also my cousin runs a 454 with 13.1cr on spray with pump gas.
but if you want a cheap way to run high octane... Quick Fuel has a E85 carb out now, and quick fuel makes awesome carbs. both engines i mentioned above have quick fuel carbs. You can find the e85 carb in jegs, its green.

I will have to look into that. This thing is going to pull so hard on the top end it's gonna be rediclous. The cam pulls from 4k-7500rpm, these heads flow 395cfm, the super victor intake is port matched to the heads, and that carb will give it plently of fuel, should be a beast.

that would be cool. i could have gone the same route but i stopped with a street car. i couldnt imagine spending 40k on a car but i have already passed that halfway mark on my project. but if you want a true drag car it would be bad***** but im sacrificing a couple of seconds to enjoy something that i can drive everyday. but post pics and updates a lot i cant wait to see it up n running
