Hey Guys, I need some help.
I have a mess that a muffler shop did and I need someone to fix it.
First off I went to have new flowmasters put on and he was going to make me an X-pipe! well he put on my mufflers, one is cocked at an angle and it hits things, next he took off my stock pipe and cats and then said that he cound'nt do it so he put it back on but he cut off the pipe that goes to the smog pump I think ? and it runs terrible. Is there anybody in N.W. Ar. area that anybody knows that can or will bolt up an X-pipe and fix my muffler. thanks Steve

Wow, sorry to hear about the mishap with the shop. They should be held responsible, but from the way it looks I'd be afraid to let them touch my car. I'm not familiar with any of the shops, the ones I know of have screwed me over as well. BTW, welcome to the forums, you should post in the new/intro section and tell us a little about yourself/your car.

I beleve stang man, bight, and sweet2Kstang are from the area, you might ask one of those guys who they recommend? Sorry to hear about that, I know that's frustrating but I hope they didn't charge you for something they can't fix? Welcome to the club by the way! ;)

I hear ya, if you have a chance and make it over this way we have a shop or 2 that does excellent work! Let me know if you want their contact information. ;) Also, you should post a thread in the news/introductions forum. We'd enjoy hearing about you and your ride :D

What shop did you take it to so I don't go there? I have an issue myself and am trying to find a shop to weld up my H-pipe but so far the couple that I have contacted said they won't touch it since it is an off-road H. I've heard from a couple of people that Seeburg and Castor's in Rogers are ok, but I don't have experience with them myself. I'm about to try another shop in a few minutes but I'm going to try just dropping by to see if I get a different response than over the phone. I'll let you know how that works out but if you're keeping the cats I would imagine either one of those 2 should be able to help you out.

Just buy yourself a new X pipe and call it good. Lot less of a headache.

Sent you a PM. I would also advise what showtime said. There are some good quality x-pipes without the cats on the market that will bolt right up with no problem. I had a Bassani on my 99 GT and loved it.
