New mustang freak in town

Hi. My name is Matt. I have been addicted to mustangs for 20 years. I tried my first stang when I was 30. Nobody told me it was addictive. Now I can't stop. I try to keep it to 1 a year, but you know how it is with an addiction. I currently have a 4 eye drag car that I bought as a roller and am building a motor for. It is stricly a strip/street, not a street/strip. However, it is just a stepping stone to help me develop a totally sick drivetrain. My goal is to end up with a 500HP+ NA 427CI All aluminum Ford small block in a stiffened lightened 94-2004 chassis that can do a Sunday drive with me, the wife, and the 2 kids, run 11s on the strip, dominate to auto-x, and be respectable on a road course. Piece of cake when you're starting with the greatest most versatile care ever right??? Time will tell. I have left every stang better off than I found it, stuffed 5.0s in Miatas, built a 5.0 Shelby Cobra kit car, and had 83, 89, 90, 90, 91, 94, 95, and 98 V8 LX/GTs. I look forward to giving/getting advice, fun, parts, cars and more.

Hey what's going on matt, I am currently building a 427 small block to put in my 99gt. According to Kuntz & co it should put out about 1000hp to the crank. It is going to be a stricly drag car tho. Where are you located? Sounds like a sweet car you are building. Welcome to the site.
