I finally have my LX in the final stages of the build. It just needs a few odds and ends and a little better tune.

Here are some pics of the build in my living room. lol

Engine all buttoned up and ready to be put in

and in the car without the turbo, etc hooked up

I usally don't take very many pics so I will tell what was done.

I bought a main girdel and windage tray, but a tray was built into the Canton pan. I also bought some Vic Jr 210cc heads with CHP stage 3 port, Scorpion rockers, Lunati custom turbo cam, SCE ICS Titan head gaskets. The intake is a Vic Jr as well ported by me to match the heads. After working a few big bugs out it finally drives on its own. We are now working on fine tuning for around 14psi until my driver skill is better. Then we plan on 20psi later on. The motor was built to handle the boost. We also have a CSU alky carb on order that we will run probably next year.

Looks like a screamer. I like you engine stand.

It sounds like it is going to run good.

You will love the CSU carb, they are unbeatable when it comes to blow though carbs.

Thanks guy's! I haven't gotten to drive it much due to not tags, or registration. But I live on a private road so we do a little street tuning on it. We were having problems with it blowing an intercooler coupling off the turbo when it got high in boost. We got that fixed and now it's holding 14lbs pretty easily on pump gas/meth injection. I hope to get a better tune on it and have it at the track in the next couple weeks. I need lots of seat time before I slap the CSU on, and up the boost.

What turbo setup are you running, or if it is a piece together what size turbo and piping? Got any picts? Sounds like a lot of power potential.

It's a pieced together turbo set-up with a GT45R turbo. The hot side is 2.5in, with 3.5 down pipe. The IC pipes are all 3 inch. I'm hoping this turbo will get me to the time's I am wanting. The headers, and hot side piping are probably restricting quite a bit, but it's plenty for now.
