View Full Version : 65 Mustang Upgrades

I have a 65 Mustang with factory six. So far my upgrades include- T-5 5-speed behind the six, Granada front spindles with disc brakes, Granada 8" rear, and 06 V6 wheels. At this time I am working on getting rid of the Clutch Z bar and upgrading to late model cable and Power brakes and installing a Duraspark II ignition. If anyone wants any info on any of these things, let me know I would be glad to share any and all info.

Runs great for a six. I have a couple of V8 options for later but, for now shes getting 29 MPG with that 5-speed.

WOW, that is great. Never expected that out of a 65. I'm happy, my v8 gets 22 city, 25 highway.

Very sweet classic man, I sure miss having my 69 coupe. Post up some pics of under the hood and interior. :D
