Well I have to make a decision. I still have my modular sitting in the shop. I have have my 351 Windsor block sitting in my shop also. IF I decided to put my modular back in it, I could have it running ALOT faster than I could if i decided to put a Windsor in it. Both will have some sort of forced induction in it. I need opinions!!!!!

ps- I know that I am proboly the most wishy washy person in the world, that's why I need ya'll opinions. Thanks!

Would be easier to stick with the modular, and cheaper since your stang is already a modular powered car.
But if the funds allowed you,the ushrod has unlimited parts, and combos that have been proven.
But the modular has a better foundation with the block itself, add a forge crank, some descent rods,a good set of prepped heads with cams, and a blower, that would be one mean mother.
Tough call really.

Im really debating on having my PI heads ported or buying the new Trick Flow heads and cams. Use the Edelbrock Victor Jr intake, and either do a procharger, vortech, or a 70mm. Im pretty sure that im just going to put the modular back in it.

Built Mod Motor with a Kennebell S/C is the way I would go!! I also know a guy who works at CompCams, and he can help you pick out a cam, do a custom grind for the blower/turbo ect..ect...

Those TrickFlows should be badazz! Turbo cars can have bad street manners sometimes.... Just my opinions!

Stick with a mod motor. Pushrods are too prehistoric for my taste.

pushrod motor and build a 408. There is a guy at Prescott running 5.70's with a n/a 408.

Ya i got to thinking about it over the weekend and Ive decided that Ive went to far to go back to fuel injection. So im going to put a windsor in it.

That's a good choice. Keith Craft has some pretty mean Dart/Craft heads you may want to check out for that windsor, they smoke AFR's.

I will either be running a set of Edelbrock Victor Sr's or a set of MBE heads. Did you get that 347 lined out???

I dont know anything about thr MBE heads, but I would got with AFR over Edlebrock. AFR are cnc ported where Edlebrock heads are cnc machined. the victor jr's on the car at my house are 205 I believe, I know they are bigger than the 185 AFR on my uncles car, but the the smaller ones on my uncles car will out flow the bigger edlebrocks on the 347. Also have you conciderd Canfield heads?

well, the afr heads have a 2.05 valve while the victor sr's have a 2.15 valve. Victor sr's will flow 395cfm while afr heads will barely flow 300cfm. But the mbe's are the ones I will go with. 2.25 intake valves, flow 465cfm. Great for turbos!!!!

modular blocks are stronger than the pushrods, but the pushrods are cheaper. when selecting heads, dont go off #'s alone. remember that overall VE of a set up is what counts. i personally like pushrods, but would go modular since car already has it.
