Does it discolor bare aluminum?

Purple Power, is that the stuff at Wal Mart? If so, be careful. It can discolor some plastics. I know from experience.

If you have the purple power : water ratio right, it won't discolor. But if not....

It does work great but it will eat the paint right off your engine bay or clear coat if you leave it sitting to long on something

Ya that is true, it will also clean up 10 year old grease if u let it sit! Haha
