Hey guys, I have been out of the country so it has took awhile to get some picts uploaded. I am glad to see this site up and going for the local interests. I got an email through the Stangnet.com site about this.
Anyway, I looks like I am the first fox body owner to join, unless I missed something. Have had the car since 1993 with 36,000 miles basically as you see in the picts, although the front end was damaged when I bought it, and now it has 52,000. I am originally form Missouri where I showed it a lot, but the car as you can tell is in the need of an updating, wheels, tires, different styling, and while I am at it a new motor and turbo. So as of last fall, it is being redone and is in about a 1000 pieces in my garage. Hopefully to be finished about this time next year.
Although I won't have a car for sometime, I think the track day is a great Idea, hopefully I can go and just hangout. Oh and I voted Little Rock for the meeting, but would be opposed if it moved around at times for other people.
So here are the pict

Nice GT Ultrastang! Is that your site? If so I might need to talk to you about those brake parts in the near future.

Thanks.
The "Ultrastang" website is mine. Although I own later model Mustangs; '90 Mustang GT and an '03 Mach 1, my primary interest in Mustangs is in the vintage ones --'65-'73, and that's what the focus of my website is on. --ugrading the vintage bodies with fuel injection, overdrive transmissions, 4-wheel disc brakes, etc.
The brake conversion brackets I have won't do you any good since they are designed to take '84-'90 Lincoln Mk VII or '94-'04 SN95 Mustang V6/GT or Cobra rear discs from an 8.8" rear end and adapt them over onto the older Ford 8- & 9-inch rear ends.
In the case of your Fox Mustang, you could also swap the '84-'90 Mk VII or '94-'04 SN95 discs over onto your 5.0, but you wouldn't need the brackets I produce to do so. The Mk VII front and rear 5-lug discs are the very same brake components that were used on the '84-'86 Mustang SVOs.
If you didn't run the Mk VII 5-lug rear discs and left the rear with a drum brake setup, then you can take the DRIVER'S side axle from (two) Ford Rangers and their 5-lug drums to swap out with your existng 4-lug drums/axles to have a 5-lug rear drum setup.
If you were going to go with disc brakes from the '94-'04 SN95 V6/GT or for larger discs '94-'04 Cobra discs (13" front/11.65" rear), then you can buy adapter brackets for the rear from discbrakesrus.com to bolt them onto the Fox 8.8" rear end housing. However, I THINK you would have to swap out to the later SN95 spindles to adapt the SN95/Cobra front disc/calipers.

Thanks for the info. I already run the Mark VIII brakes on my setup, both front and rears, although I don't have the rears flipped as many do. Plus I am running the Mark VIII axles as well, all done when I bought the car actually, which makes the rear stance wider. But I am changing to a newer setup on the rebuild, just not sure what yet.
Thanks for the info though and nice website by the way.
