I also added some sound damping material to the rear half of the car. Here are some pics of the install. We will have to see if it helps any.

How long did that take?

anyone else notice that we want our cars to be loud to everyone else, but then we'd do something like this to make it quiet where we are?
Why do we do this?

Considering that there is nothing there from the factory, I do think it helped with some of the noise. The stuff I used was not very thick but it was easy to cut and had the sticky side already on it.
I plan on putting in in the middle of the car and I think once that's done it will be better.

LOL! Your right, we want it loud but yet quiet.

Probably took 2-3 hours taking my time.

I will say if you think you want thicker material, the carpet probably would not go back in place.

I was thinking of putting some of this stuff under the rear seat over where the mufflers are to help quiet out some of the exhaust noise for the kiddies when they are with me.My GT is pretty loud sounding,and it's deep sounding inside :? .....The way i like it,but not for my kids.
