For you that have researched and installed, which CAI do you think is best?
FRPP. JLT, C&L, etc.

I have a C&L and love it but I think most out there for the S197 flow very close to the same. IMO, most of the differences in gains you will see will be in the tuning for the intakes. Give Brenspeed, Bamachips, or Tillman Speed a call and see what they prefer. All 3 of them sell and tune a ton of these.

Agreed, for the '05 Plus they are all basically the same when it comes down to the design, but the materials is another story. In my opinion i would try to stick with something that doesn't heat soak, and made with plastic materials like the JLT,K&N,ects....A tune for any would benifit.

In a review I read on the Internet, the c&l created the best power.

I can't say for sure on the 05 up stuff but I have always heard K&N, JLT, and C&L were the best for those. I have a JLT on my 04 and could not say enough good about fitment and quality. I was really impressed with it.

Is Brenspeed any better than AmericanMuscle on tunes? Brenspeed is a little more for their tune and CAI package.

Go Brenspeed!!!!!! Dad absolutely loves what they did for his car. Driveability is great, makes a noticeable amount more power, and he picked up 3mpg after tuning it. It really woke his car up! And their customer service was great. They were at the track drag racing when I contacted them, and they still managed to get the tune together and shipped in 3 days. Of course, we paid extra for that, but it was still worth it!

I used Brenspeed for mine as well and love it but I don't like to say one tuner is better than another. No matter which tuners you research on you will find many that had a great experience and some that had a bad experience. Some will swear by them and some will curse them. I can tell you IMO Brenspeed does have some of the best customer service and replies quickly to emails or phone calls. From my research and experience you can't say that about many other tuners. You will love it once you get one though. It completely wakens the S197.

I know one not to buy, the American Muscle cai, we orderd 2 for 2 foxbodies, and that is the the worst cai I ever seen, my dad is sending his back, but my cuz went on and hooked his up. I hate to knock American Muscle because they have great deals on stuff but that cai look like my 2 year old daughter fab'd it up. But it was cheap and it goes back to that old saying, you pay for what you get.
