I finally got the 5.4 in my car, I had a change of plans and ditched the Lightning intake and blower, the more I gave it thought the more I didnt like not being able to get a hood to clear it and I didnt want the blower sticking out of the hood looking all Mad Max. I have a Edlebrock intake on the way, and after I get that its just little things like exhaust, a cold air intake and intake adapters to get it running. Since the blower has been ditched and I built the motor low compression its basically just a stock all forged 5.4 2v, I am going to put 2 stages of nitrous on to help it on power. Hoping to have it ready end of October to go to Noble OK to the Buick vs. Ford shoot out!

Nice to get an update, I'd began to wonder what was happening to the project. Look forward to seeing it out. What kinda power numbers are you expecting?

Not sure what you've got done or will have done suspension wise, but if you can get that power to the ground it'll be wicked!

Hooray for clean tires. I've heard of a bleach box, but never thought of actually running 'em thru the laundry! ha ha ha... I'm so funny.

Havent been on here in a while, but nothing really has on the car been busy as crap latley and its just been sitting, but am bout to get back on it since the weather is getting nice. just bought a Performance Automatic C4 trans and a Dynamic 9" 3500 stall converter for it and got to order a flexplate and bell housing in next couple of days. Still been trying to decide what to do on a intake and have run across something that I am goin to buy in a week or 2 if the guy that has it doesn't change his mind on selling it. Gonna send me back in the direction I started with the Lightning blower but better. I found another Lightning lower intake with a Kenne Bell 2.3 blower, JLP upper plenum. If that deal dont fall through once I get all the parts from him it will be no time getting it running.
