I had a blast at the Street Machine Nationals, despite a rain out Sunday. I stayed pretty busy and didn't get around to all the cars. I did manage to get a ton of pics. Also, the pros that were there were suppose to have their pics posted online. They've not been yet, but once they are I'll post a link to those as well. I also have videos of the burnout contest, they had 5 participants in it (required an automatic transmission and it to be naturally aspirated so that knocked out a lot of guys).

The Camero won, but IMO the GTO had a better one (GTO got second). One of the vids shows the awards for them.
Here is hands down my favorite car there. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to see it except in the trailer. The owner is suppose to be e-mailing John some better pics, we'll post those when we can. I don't know full specs, but do know that it was dyno'd at over 600 to the wheels, and top speed is over 200 mph. He had to go with pretty high gearing in order to keep the rear tires from breaking loose from the power.

somone help me figure out what modular motor is in the black stang. I think its a 5.4 2valve out of a lightning, cause the intake for the blower is on the back. But a lighting eaton does not come all the way to the front of the blower.

Oh and john saw my nice second gear burnout over were registration was on friday. lol

After reviewing the videos of the burnout contest, I WILL have an entry for the next one! I have done much better burnouts than a few of those cars, and I will definitely give it a shot. We didn't get to make it there, my wife got an urgent call as we were walking towards the gate. Oh well, next time!

I agree and he did most of the work himself. I have a 64 f100 that is in pieces and a V-10 to go in it. I hope it turns out half as nice as Jason's
