View Full Version : what do you guys think about the blackout panels?

well since my car is either dead or getting repaired when it comes out or i get a new 1 some things are gonna get throwed on it

now which one do you prefer the magnetic blackout or the honeycomb panel i just am not for sure as dirty as the back of our car gets honeycomb seems liek it may be hard to keep up with but idk?? feedback is appreciated

Personally, I like the blackout panel over the honeycomb. I think it gives it a cleaner look and I think you would probably be right about the cleaning part as well.

It breaks up nicely,but i think,and this is my opinion,that satin black would look better then gloss black. 8-)

yea but with my red i perfered the gloss over the magnetic black

Thanks for the welcome. I really enjoy my baby even if she is just a V6er. I finally posted in the News/Introduction forum, it has some pictures of the mods I want to do on the exterior. There are more that I want to do to the engine compartment and interior just have not set down with photoshop to put those together yet.

I have to agree with Chy. I like the honeycomb better. I had it on my 35th anniversary mustang and it was not hard to keep clean at all. If you do decide to go wth the decal, go with the flat color instead of the gloss. You could always finsih off the honeycomb look with the tail light decals such as I did. I'm a big fan of it.
