Hey Moparboy76,
Welcome, glad our site caught you eye as a place to find some help. Looks like you and your friend have allot of hours ahead to get that 69 coupe back on the road. i suggest checking out this link http://www.1969stang.com/mustang/forum/
I use it quite frequently with finding answers to questions on my 69 restoration. My other suggestion is to spend the $200 dollars to buy the Ford Factory manuals for 69-70 Mustang. Best investment I ever made towards my restoration (aside from the car LOL ). Good luck and keep us posted with pics of the progress.

I'm currently working on a 68 California Special Project and a Pro Street 68 Coupe. Just located another 67 coupe that is the perfect Projcet car, hoping to get it this weekend.

Well Looks like the deal on the 67 coupe is gonna go through. It has a running 289 / C4 combo, straight as an arrow and super solid frames / quarters, has all trim removed as they stripped the paint and put in primer last year. Has all AC intact, Power steering. This is a very original car with some of the best metal I've seen in years. Doors close good and tight, all glass good. I think we're gonna end up at $800 )) Also has the turn signal hood. I haven't even had a chance to see if its a an A or C code, but for that price I'll take either.

Well after two weeks of hit and miss with the owner that never answers his phone I finally brought the coupe home yesterday. Its finally in the dry. Gonna be a nice car with a little work. 289 runs and C4 works, needs paint - but again the car is very , very solid all the way around, all glass good and the doors open and close very well. Anybody got a set of Steel styled wheels for this? - I prefer the 68 / 69 steel styled wheels. thanks
